Illustrator of La Gazette du Bon Ton

Painter and illustrator Maggie Salcedo is formed at the Academy de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris. It publishes his first illustrations in 1907 in The Malices Apple and Pear, a children's book written by Christopher.

She designs for the Daily Bon Ton since its creation in 1912 until 1920. His vignettes, performed with a flexible and feature soft colors, illustrate the lives of readers of the Gazette, as the young mother , depicting a young woman carrying his daughter on his right hip, in a posture reminiscent of the Madonna and Child. It offers an idyllic vision of motherhood combined with an elegant stylized creations of designers.
