The Japanese paper

Unquestionably the finest luxury paper, Japanese paper, like China, is radically different from European papers since it is composed exclusively of plants (mulberry bark or other Japanese shrubs).

This thick paper, silk, satin and pearl, helps make each page a complete work. It reveals all its nobility and when a door poetry. More quality ink absorption and affinity with the colors make it the ideal carrier of artist books and lithographs.

Virtually tear-proof and virtually insensitive to foxing, it has to default its lack of flexibility and it almost always requires a binder for both the handle than to honor its aesthetic perfection.
