The Vergé paper

The elegant laid Holland, all of laid lines and chainlines, is the illustrious descendant of fruit groves invented in France by Protestant artisans who took refuge in the Netherlands after the revocation of the Edict of Nantes.

If this beautiful paper, insensitive to foxing and time, is not often that of tiny print head with the author or some bibliophiles, however it is the preferred luxury draw most of the novels of the late the nineteenth and twentieth century. This thick, soft paper whose subdued ivory is imbued with light and mixes with the ink of words contributes to the intimacy of the relationship between book and reader. For that it proves ideal support proofreading of the favorite texts.
