Illustrator of La Gazette du Bon Ton

Illustrator and graphic designer, Guy Arnoux part in the Gazette du Bon tone between 1912 and 192. It performs vignettes where held creators appear on young women to look mischievous and barely sketched lines.

So in I want one , a young woman in field dress catches, gently amused, a little fish at the end of his fishing rod; in the beautiful viscontesse , the costume is the same way highlighted while the body disappears behind the tissues and supported black line, so characteristic of the style of Arnoux.

But his work away quite quickly fashion designs to turn to military issues, even being appointed official painter of the Navy in 1921. However, it remains committed to the Parisian life and his artistic environment when entering the circle of Mortigny, founded in 1908 by Dimitri Osnobichine and bringing together many artists including many emerging alongside Arnoux Gazette: Boutet de Monvel Brissaud and even the couturier Paul Poiret.
