Original etching done with chisels from a painting of the sixteenth century by Maarten de Vos (or Martin) .Epreuve on watermarked laid paper, working from the early seventeenth siècle.Il is an illustration of the Book of Tobit (2.9 .) in the Old Testament: "But Tobias fearing God more than the king, removed the bodies of those who were killed, hid them in his house and inhumait overnight." He was a pupil of Frans Floris, and then completed his training with Tintoretto.
