Guillaume Dubois, said Moron (1460? -1525) Was the treasurer of the Sainte-Chapelle in Vincennes, then champion of the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris and ordinary chaplain of King Francis. He was recognized as a master, especially by Jean Lemaire de Belges and Clément Marot. It ranks among the great Rhétoriqueurs. His poems are divided into two main parts which are the royal songs and epistles (letters addressed to different characters).
