Work decorated with a beautiful frontispiece by Félicien Rops.
Bradel binding in half brown morocco, spine decorated with gilt typographic motifs, gilt date at the foot, frame of gilt fillets on the comb-patterned paper boards, caillouté marbled endpapers, covers illustrated by Henri Thiriet and spine preserved in one-piece, contemporary binding signed Carayon.
Beautiful copy perfectly set in a binding signed by Carayon.
