Binders half bronze half calf, spine gilt five bands set with ornate golden boxes dotted richly decorated with gold patterns to grotesque parts of title navy morocco, spare volume number burgundy morocco, double gilt on flat paper marbled, two bottom corners very lightly bumped, guards and contreplats of handmade paper, red heads, elegant bindings of the time. Illustrated book of seven etchings by Leopold Flameng. Few foxing mainly affecting slices. Beautiful set comfortably established in an elegant contemporary binding.
