First illustrated edition print 250 compositions in black Maurice Leloir, engraved on wood by Huyot. Cover the dish with a pediment and two musketeers was joined, flying in the first volume. The second dish cover and the back were connected in fine. Bound in full red morocco period long tail grains signed L. Guetant. Smooth back richly and elegantly decorated with irons and rollers in the spirit of the seventeenth century. Frieze and nets border on covers. Nets on cuts and interior. a scratch on the top plate of Volume 1 of 4 cm. Light rubs caps. Pale small brown spot on the dishes. Pale scattered spots. Despite minimal beautiful copy defects in a finely decorated full morocco long grain binder. Illustrated edition listed and sought leloir Maurice was indeed one of the most popular illustrators of the time.
