The most comprehensive collective Edition published to date and illustrated with a frontispiece and 11 figures. Full calf glossy olive time. Smooth back thinned adorned with golden chains, golden heads and feet in friezes. Parts of title and volume numbers in red morocco, gilt caps on wheels. Lace frame and net gilt boards. Some corners lightly bumped without gravity, a threadbare cap. Few scattered spots. Beautiful copy set in an elegant contemporary binding. Count Tressan (d. 1783) has contributed significantly to the rediscovery of medieval literature by his literary adaptations, especially in public taste, preparing two major major currents that of Gothic literature and the Romantic literature and his inveterate taste for the Middle Ages. --- Please note that the translation in english is done automatically, we apologize if the formulas are inaccurate.
