First edition in-8 and first with this new title. The work was published under the title Voyage aux eaux des Pyrénées in 1855, in a small format and with 64 vignettes on wood by Gustave Doré; in this one, 9 woods published in 1855 are not included, so there are 332 woods unpublished (Louis Dézé).
Contemporary binding in half blue shagreen night, back with four nerves adorned with boxes, nets and dotted gilded paper flat cardboard, guards and contreplats of moiré paper, all golden slices.
Some friction in the head and tail of the back, two corners slightly rubbed, guards and contreplats a little blackened.
Two ex-libris glued on the first contreplats.
Beautiful copy completely free of freckles.
