Binders half chocolate brown morocco, back with five nerves decorated with gilded initials of great bibliophile Roger Cormenin repeated five times, dates, gold tails, parts of title and volume number morocco turquoise cloudy, with slight friction on some back, boards marbled paper guards and contreplats of handmade paper, gilded heads, slightly posterior bindings.
Provenance: the library Cormenin Roger, son of Louis de Cormenin who was the confidant and secretary of Théophile Gautier and also a close friend of Gustave Flaubert.
Pleasant nicely established uniform binding copy.
