First edition illustrated with 12 original color lithographs by Charles Guérin, one of 35 numbered copies on Japan in the shape, head print.
Binding full morocco purple, smooth back very slightly faded decorated with geometric and floral pieces of morocco purple mosaic, old pink and red, golden wheels on the headdresses, traces of rubbing on the back, framing of quadruples golden nets on the boards embellished with geometric and floral pieces of brown, purple, pink and green mosaic morocco, guards and contreplats of purplish silk, framing of double golden threads on the contreplats enriched with a list of purple morocco and pieces of pink mosaic morocco showing three small flowers , gilded fillets on the cups, covers and back preserved, golden head, Contemporary binding signed Simon Kra.
Our copy is accompanied by two suites, one of the color lithographs on China, the other decomposing each of these lithographs into color passages (3 or 4 according to the images).
