First edition, one of 25 copies on Holland, only two major papers with China. Binding Jansenist in full red morocco, spine with four nerves, framing a gold band on contreplats tan morocco leather, silk moiré tan guards, gilt edges, cover and spine preserved, minute traces of friction without gravity on the lower corners elegant binding signed Georges Crette. Sending the author, the name of the dedicatee was deleted. Nice copy, with all margins, the masterpiece of Guy de Maupassant well established in a doubled binding Georges Crette.
