Original signed portrait of her close friend Antonin Artaud by Denise Colomb, silver print made by the artist in the 1990's after a photograph taken in 1947. 
A moving large-format shot of the writer at the very end of his life, looking almost Christ-like, seated in an armchair hands folded in his lap, as if resigned to his tragic fate. 
Antonin Artaud was the first of her famous series of artists portraits which also included Giacometti, Picasso, Soulages and Miro pictured in their studio.  
Signed and inscribed by Denise Colomb in the lower left and right corners of the photo.
