97 photographies originales du tournage du film de Carlo Rim "L'armoire volante"

s.l. 1948, 16x21,5cm, 97 photographies sous une boîte cartonnée.

97 original photographs taken during the filming of Carlo Rim "L'armoire volante". Original silver prints in three different formats: 11x8.5, 18x13.5cm and 23.5x18.5cm, depicting scenes from the film set housed in a 'Crumière' cardboard box labeled by Carlo Rim himself on the front cover and one edge of the lid.
L'armoire volante [The Flying Wardrobe] was written and directed by Carlo Rim; with Fernandel, Berthe Bovy and Pauline Carton in the lead roles.
Madame Lobligeois (Berthe Bovy), a stubborn octogenarian, leaves for Clermont-Ferrand with two movers to bring her few pieces of furniture back to Paris, despite the mad concerns of her tax collector nephew Alfred Puc (Fernandel). The weather was very cold, and on her return, the good lady froze to death. Panic-stricken, the movers leave the body in an ice-cream cabinet, and head back to Paris, warning the nephew. But in the meantime, the truck has been stolen, and the nephew's exciting adventures in search of his aunt's body begin.
