New edition, after the original was published in 1761 in Avignon. A supplement to the dictionary, printed in 1787, was integrated into alphabetical order in this edition. 2 boards déplliantes in Volume I of which ballooning the frontispiece; 5 folding plates in volume II; 3 folding plates in Volume III; 3 folding plates in Volume IV; 2 folding plates in Volume V; or 15 boards. Half sheepskin brunette small corners slightly later vellum. Smooth back wheels decorated in Greek. Piece of red morocco and volume number of black morocco (adorned with a laurel wreath). Good copy. Dictionary of Physics Paulian enjoyed some success and was reprinted many times with additions; its success lies in the width of the sound spectrum study - the divining rod, scientists, comets, and arid parts of arithmetic, until the last aerostatic experiments - and didactic quality articles; Paulian, long time professor at Avignon in fact this talent to explain the most complex in an affordable way without betraying things is particularly the case for the Newtonian system which he was particularly fond.
