New edition. The original was published in 1740, without supplements. The Supplementum primum is dated 1754 and 1760 secundum Illustrated with a portrait frontispiece, thumbnail titles, boards in Iere part of Supplementum secundum and a second board in the third part. The parts of Supplmentum have separate title pages.
Full brown calf contemporary. Back tooled raised. Parts of titles and volume numbers in red morocco. As part of Volume III partly missing. Lower cap of rimum Supplementum threadbare and top cap ditto. Frontispiece detached.
The book provides clear reference sum for medicine and chemistry (applied to medicine) in the eighteenth century.
