New edition, published after the original contemporary in 1665. Full brown calf. Back with five nerves ornate coffered and gilded finials. Slices speckled. Corners bumped, two small wormholes. A small angular lacking in title page. This book is a response to both treaties and Nicole Pierre Arnault published in 1664. Jean Claude (1619-1687), a Protestant minister, was the most eloquent spokesman of the Res of France until the revocation of the Edict of Nantes.
