First printing of this famous edition of Racine, illustrated with a portrait of Racine by Santerre and 12 figures Plover engraved by Duclos, Flipart Lemire, Lempereur Levasseur. The figures are not are captioned, and the announcement Cohen. "Besides Figures are almost always without a caption containing many copies of prints made with caches" The illustration does contain a portrait of Racine that Cohen does not mention. etchings are printed on heavy paper.
