New edition, after the complete original 1647 Illustrated frontispiece of a title by Delin, engraved by Laan, a vignette title, frontispiece and 5 folding plates not signées.Plein Velin flexible. Smooth spine with title in black pen. Pages loosened guard. Title frontispiece trimmed short with a slight gap at the right edge. Same, the title page presents right margin a slight lack, ditto for the frontispiece. Plate 5 was partially lined with old paper. 201 sheet margin and restored some leaves frayed straight margin of 1 cm.Premier Dutch pastoral novel, The Dutch Arcadia was a great success in his country.
