New edition after the first published in 1743. Rare. Edition not listed by Cioranescu giving that of 1758 and that of 1776.
Bound in full brown sheepskin marbled time. Back with nerves decorated. As part beige leather. A small hole in the rear. Good copy.
In full mode "turqueries" and after Marana, Montesquieu, Godard Aucourt in turn gives its contribution to this curious literary and artistic genre with the story of a Turkish landing in Paris with his beloved slave and confronted the Parisian gallant manners.
