First Edition. From an illustrated portrait frontispiece. Rare. Absent the BN of France, the French catalogs, the British Library and English catalogs. Vellum full time. Smooth back silent. The book is a collection of 34 historical novels, each new being followed by Christian and moral reflections. Jean Pierre Camus is indeed the first to have used fiction, ie secular means in a spiritual edification.
