Travel relation established by Father Nicolas Frizon on memoirs written by a missionary when he visited Turkey to China, Jacques Villotte. Travel by sea is very dangerous, we choose two routes, one by Muscovy, the other by Turkey, hoping the Jesuits convert the people of Tartary. Narration established in the third person starting with the three-week stay at the Jesuit Constantinople. Follows a further description of the caravan travels. Considerations on the Persians. City of Isfahan. Location of the earthly paradise and considerations on ancient Babylon. Considerations Persians and Armenians. This is the enlightened and tolerant view on foreign manners by a Jesuit focusing also on business and the history of his order. The Jesuit Father, left Marseilles in 1688, reached Isfahan in October 1689 where he settled for twelve years. He failed to pass in China and was recalled to France.
