Posthumous Edition of one of the last volumes of Manga bringing together sketches of Hokusai. 50 pages with 17 double-page engravings, the remainder in single page (view of Mount Fuji, warriors, farmers, cranes, courtesan).
Volume accordion, connected by a seam. yellow blanket patterned with title tag (now relatively illegible). Small spots on the boards. fresh copy.
The Hokusai Manga variety of subjects, scenes of daily life, but also battle scenes, also scenes of typically Japanese legends, animals and flowers.
