Rare meeting of both parties constantly separated from Palace. If the Palace of glory is not really a sequel, it's a second part provided by the author. It is not known why it was published by another publisher, perhaps this change, and the year between the two editions has created this continuous separation of two books .. New Edition for the Palace of the honor, originally published in 1663, and First edition for the Palace of glory. The first book is illustrated with a frontispiece allégogorique Chauveau and 12 boards inset coats of arms. Full Sheepskin brown vintage. Back tooled raised. Part of title in red morocco. Top cap partly threadbare (same tail). Upper jaw split and opened along the first cap chamber. Corners bumped. First pages of the second book yellowed. The 12 boards are out pagination; Moreover Palace of glory begins p.288, no missing natuellement and all copies (including one noted numerous errors in pagination). In addition to the science of heraldry, which contains all the heraldry books of the time, the Palace of honor is distinguished by several happy sigularités, including a chapter on all orders of chivalry in Europe, another on ceremonies, tournaments, battle cries; much of it is devoted to the history of the illustrious families of France. The Palace of Glory also include this part in consecrating families to France missing and some large families of Europe.
