Charles Augustin D'AVILER & Pierre-Jean MARIETTE

New edition, after the first published in 1691, illustrated with a frontispiece and 107 boards including 103 numbered and many on double page. This edition has been reworked, and corrected and brought up to date; previous editions had only 84 boards, many were added on parts that had not been treated like stairs, chimneys ... This new edition had to reflect the architecture of 1730 and all the changes that have been operating in the taste since the first edition and the changes that brought the Blond in the following editions. The boards are included in the pagination and do not benefit from a special paper, but they are particularly well printed and engraved, with beautiful contrasts.
